Josie M. Faix practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration and guardian and conservatorships. She graduated from the University of New Mexico (B.A. with Honors, 1995) and the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2001).
She is admitted to practice in all of Colorado's district and appellate courts. She is a member of the Trust & Estate Section of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations and is a member of the Statutory Revisions, Rules and Forms, and the Orange Book Committees of the Colorado Bar Association. In addition, she is currently serving as CoEditor of Council Notes, the Section's quarterly newsletter. She is the author of the "NonProbate Transfers" chapter of the Colorado Estate Planning Handbook (the "Orange Book") (CLE in Colo., Inc.). She is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council.
